ลักษณะ :

กล้วยไม้อิงอาศัย ลำลูกกล้วยรูปกลม สูง 1-1.2 ซม. จำนวน 2 ใบ ใบรูปขอบขนาน กว้าง 1-1.2 ซม. ยาว 4-5 ซม. ดอกออกเป็นช่อที่โคนลำลูกกล้วย ห้อยลง ยาว 3.5-5 ซม. จำนวน 10-15 ดอก ใบประดับปลายเรียวแหลม สีเขียวอมขาวหรือสีครีม ยาว 1 ซม. กลีบเลี้ยงและกลีบดอกสีแดงมีขีดตามยาวสีม่วงแดงเข้ม กลีบปกสีม่วงแดงเข้ม

Characteristics :

Epiphyte; pseudobulb globose to conical, 1 – 1.2 cm tall. Leaves c. 2, oblong, 1 – 1.2 cm wide, 4 – 5 cm long. Inflorescence arising from base on pseudobulb, pendulous, 3.5 – 5 cm long, 10- to 15-flowered. Floral bract whitish-green or cream, c. 1 cm long, apex acuminate. Flowers reddish-purple; sepals and petals red with dark reddish-purple lines; lip dark reddish purple.

การกระจายพันธุ์ :

เป็นพืชถิ่นเดียวของประเทศไทย พบเฉพาะตามป่าดิบเขาทางภาคเหนือ ออกดอกเดือนกันยายน-ตุลาคม

Distribution :

Endemic to Thailand, distributed in hill evergreen forest in Northern, Northeastern Thailand. Flowering in September - October.
